irt1map - T1 map from Inversion Recovery images

blue bar

Command line program to calculate T1 maps from several modulus inversion recovery images acquired with a range of different inversion times.

irt1map [-d]
-d
Displays (a lot of) additional information about the progress of the program.

When run, irt1map requires the following information from the command line -

Are the IR images in seperate Analyze files or one multi-volume file?
enter 1 for a multi-volume file or 2 if there is a separate Analyze file for each inversion time.
Enter number of separate files
If option 2 was chosen above, enter the number of separate Analyze files to use, i.e., the number of inversion times.
Enter file name(s)
Enter the Analyze filenames, one at a time, either with or without the .hdr or .img file extension. Then enter the inversion time for that file, in ms. If the Analyze files were created using dtoa or acrtoana then the TI should be included in the Analyze description line. As a reminder, the Analyze description line of each file is displayed in turn. Files and their associated TIs may be entered in any order; they are sorted into ascending TIs prior to curve fitting. If all the images are stored in a multi-volume Analyze files, the TIs for each volume must be entered in turn in the correct order. Separate multi-volume files can not be combined.
Correct for offset in TI
If selected, an additional time offset is included in the curve fit. This corrects for cases when the TI is reported incorrectly on the MR scanner. Modern MR scanners usually quote the correct TI. It is suggested that this option only be used to check the TI on phantom data; any offset can then be added to the TI values entered on subsequent runs without using this option.
